We were so blessed with the best traveling companions. Of course, we are each other's best road trip buddies. ;-) And we were delighted to have the company of Gabriel, Gabrielito and Almendra. Three amazing friends whose knowledge and love for their homeland spread to us like wildfire. They knew the BEST anecdotes, the BEST eateries, the BEST place to celebrate New Year's Eve, and the real story of Mexico City - we spent so much time laughing and singing and eating - we were a well oiled fun machine. I miss them so much already and can't wait to be reunited. Now, we will have some fun stories of our own to reminisce about.....
