Every little corner of the region around and in Mexico City was so rich with street musicians and artists and performance art. There was a constant stream of background music..... Aztec, accordian, organ grinder - and of course, the traveling 3 piece mariachis. We saw some men flying from a 50 ft perch to "statues" that barely moved - just enough to startle the children... And there were the healers who practiced their art with limpias (cleansings) - a different energy for each one. Even if all we did was sit on a bench for a whole day, we would have come away full.
