Mazatlan

Well, here we are in Mazatlan. If you look at this map you'll see Las Jaibas Trailer Park in the north end of town. We drove around and looked at many of the places to park and this was by far the best. Then we ran into a few of our traveling buddies from other stops so it feels like home here.

The beach is across the street and I think we'll be here for two weeks. It feels good to get off the road. Kate and Matt will be here in a few days.

There's been a few places on the way down where we had no services and used our self-contained solar power and water system. But this place has everything we need for plugging in.

Last night we took the bus into downtown Mazatlan. It's about a half hour. We walked around the plaza and the seawall and saw a Mariachi concert with a famous group. Then we hung out at the plaza where there were processions and music and lots of people having fun. We got home very late.
