Exploring

We spent the morning exploring a section of town we hadn't been to previously. Here are some typical scenes from one of the older sections of Mazatlan, a town that is 500 years old.

Happy New Moon

From sitting on our patio and watching the birds and the tower repairmen in the morning, to making our candles on the beach in the afternoon, and then boogie boarding the waves, we had a good new moon day.

Touching base

We've been saying goodbye to friends these days, which usually involves happy hour at some place or other. Yesterday, there were copious amounts of shrimp also involved.

Corazon Gitano is resting and got a nice black touch-up on her front surfaces. My mom is coming to visit tomorrow and we have a list of things to do. Of course, more happy hours are scheduled.

El Quelite

We drove up to a charming little town about an hour away named El Quelite. It's famous for being the home of an ancient ball game using a really hard soccer ball-sized ball. It's also very colorful and friendly. Then we checked out another coastal town and a few local towns. It was good to be out exploring and good to be back home at the end of the day.
